Dr Vicki Yin is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist. She has supported thousands of women through their pregnancy journey and helped welcome their precious babies into the world. She is an experienced surgeon, performing both laparoscopic and major pelvic surgeries. Furthermore she has an active role in teaching specialists in training as well as medical students.
Dr Vicki Yin completed combined degrees of Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery/Bachelor of Medical Science through the University of Melbourne. She then was accepted into the highly competitive College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and completed further 6 years of intensive training through two major Victorian women’s health service hospitals Monash Health and Northern Health. During this time, she also graduated with a Master degree in Reproductive Medicine with excellence.
Dr Vicki Yin currently holds specialist consultant positions at Box Hill Hospital, Angliss Hospital and Mitcham Private Hospital. Her predominant work involves looking after high risk pregnancies, teaching and supervision of specialists in training, as well as performing a range of gynaecological surgeries.
In her spare time, Dr Vicki Yin is busy looking after her toddler and experiments with different recipes to see which foods don’t end up on the floor.
