Dr Jason Chew is a dedicated Obstetrician & Gynaecologist providing his services at Box Hill, Epworth Eastern, Mitcham Private, and Knox Private Hospital. He consults at three established practices in Box Hill, Mitcham and Knox.

Monash trained and practising exclusively in the eastern suburbs, he has a busy practice offering obstetrics and most aspects of benign gynaecological surgeries, ranging from minor procedures to major laparoscopic and urogynaecological surgeries. He is well regarded among midwifery and medical colleagues as a warm, caring and attentive Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. He has public hospital appointment at Box Hill Hospital, and maintains a supervisory role to the training of young specialists in advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries such as laparoscopic hysterectomies and treatment of endometriosis.

As an experienced obstetrician who helped managed many pregnancies and delivered many babies, he has a gentle and calm demeanour that is most reassuring during critical times in pregnancy, labour and delivery. He is meticulous and focus in care, always aiming for improvement and patient satisfaction. Over the years, he is reputed as a safe pair of hands in delivering the best outcome for mothers and babies.

In addition to a busy practice, Dr Jason Chew is involved in community programs promoting women’s health such as community awareness in cervical cancer screening, pregnancy related health education, and also played a role in the Chinese community Covid messaging by the Victorian Government Multicultural Communications Outreach Program and Australian Chinese Medical Association.

Aside from a demanding work schedule, Dr Jason Chew is a loving husband and proud father to three beautiful children. He and his wife are keen amateur badminton players. Together with their teenage kids, they enjoy music and all outdoor activities. As an Australian of Chinese descent, he is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
